The Secrets of Successful Inventors, 18 Dec 2009
In The Secrets of Successful Inventors, the author shares the lessons he has learned while trying to bring his product, Athlete's Oasis, to market. It would seem that the inventor did everything right when it came to paperwork but still the product did not sell. It was at this point, that he realized the importance of promoting solutions not features. In this way, potential customers saw answers to specific problems, their problems. The answer was of course Athlete's Oasis. From there, money started rolling in.
The Secrets of Successful Inventors takes the reader through the process. The author shows how doing things yourself can save a good deal of money. He also says that sometimes in following your dream you have to dig deeper to figure out how to be successful.

I know John personally, have tremendous respect for him, and so was very excited to buy his book! As expected this is an outstanding contribution to the field, carefully guiding inventors to success!! It seems like every week I am running into another person with a great idea, or a friend that has just had a brilliant inspiration! Naturally, I wish them the best of luck! NOW, I have a powerful tool to offer them. I have already purchased one copy for a friend with a great invention who is looking for the steps to take to make his dream come true! It felt great to put a copy of this masterpiece in his hands! Not only is this a very practical hands-on book, it is also filled with inspirational guidance from inventors in the past as well. Just to share two aphorisms that inspired the heck out of me: "When I have fully decided that a result is worth getting I go ahead and make trial after trial until it comes." Thomas Edison. "Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together." Vincent Van Gogh.
I have watched John personally help person after person bring their ideas to fruition. He is a brilliant guide and coach who gets results every time. It is wonderful to see a person so talented, gifted, and committed to the success of others, extend that helping hand to those with a dream, through this book! As you read the book it becomes immediately obvious that you are learning from a person in the trenches, someone fighting the fight, a doer! It is great to get the benefit of the experience of a dedicated friend that KNOWS how to be successful and wants you to be successful!
Buy the book. It will be the best money you ever spent. It was for me. I can hardly wait to give away my next copy. |

Great tips for ensuring success as an inventor, September 3, 2009
I have read this book with the viewpoint of a business coach and trainer. Having met so many inventors in my seminars, I always looked at some practical tips to give them which would come from an "insider". John's first-hand experience in dealing with "brain-rich" people has gained him a strong authority and ability to provide the right advices and direction.
I strongly recommend this book to inventors of any kind. Persitence might be the ultimate quality to succeed through times, but the right raw ingredients are always needed to ensure the best start. "The Secrets of Successfl Inventors" provides these raw ingredients which will help successfully transform your idea into a product.

John provides some extremely valuable information to striving as well as seasoned inventors in his book. Yes, there are secrets which he has learned and which John succinctly conveys which will save you valuable time, money and potentially heart-brake before, during and after the invention process. Yes, there are little nuggets of gold between those pages.
